Revati Sharma Singh and Raj Shahani, have come together to present an exhibition titled “Colour, Stone, Chintz, Grain and Statue,” which showcases their emotions for objects that hold their culture close to them. Through their individual art practices, they travel back home to their roots, bringing back visuals and coloured canvases, reflecting life. The exhibition features paintings, sculptures, and installations that explore the themes of colour, stone, chintz, grain, and statue, and how they relate to the artists’ personal and cultural identities.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Lt. General VN Sharma, a retired army chief, who appreciated the artists’ creativity and vision. The exhibition also received a lot of support and praise from the visitors, who were impressed by the beauty and diversity of the artworks. The artists expressed their gratitude for all the people who showed up to support them and the exhibition.
