The Material Immaterial design studio was founded out of a love for creating artistic products with careful attention to detail and a focus on striking a balance between form and function. Their design ethos is based on the idea of emphasising the natural beauty of materials. Because each of their handcrafted products is individually constructed, no two items from their studio are ever exactly alike in terms of texture and appearance.

The Gambol collection mimics the playfulness of childhood, with rolling balls skipping around, hopping and gliding through paths carved alongside arcades and stairways. Drawing parallels with childhood experiences, the pieces evoke nostalgia while showcasing Material Immaterial Studio's impeccable craftsmanship.

The Be-Hold art frame aims to be a convergence of spirit and space. It has a unique frame that speaks a complex language of geometric steps that are inspired by the instinctive coordination of light and shadow in architecture. The artwork it contains is highlighted, while the beautiful details astonish the viewer. BRACK {T} relies on architectural characteristics and functional and minimal art objects to generate the fascinating chiaroscuro effect.

Finally, the Re-play collection is a composite of architectural components, arranged to create an overarching narrative of memories. An emotional play results from the intuitive assembly process, which is centred on the particular creator and their present mental state. Material Immaterial Studio showcased their one-of-a-kind products at the 2023 India Design Week celebrating the beauty of materials, evoking spatial memories, and inspiring creativity while reflecting the studio's minimalist aesthetic and impeccable craftsmanship.
