INTERFACES is HOLZIndia's first exhibition in the country. HOLZIndia has been created through a collaboration between two groundbreaking art projects: HOLZ and INFUSED STORY . The event will be held at Gallerie Romain Rolland , Alliance Française de Delhi , Lodhi Road, New Delhi in association with Alliance Française de Delhi , the Embassy of France , the Embassy of Belgium , and Lalit Kala Akademi , New Delhi . During the exhibition's inauguration, Stephane Alamir , Director Alliance Française de Delhi will greet our esteemed guests from the Embassy of Belgium who will be represented at the show, along with the representatives of our partners and sponsors.

Interfaces - Part 1 of the show from 23 June to 3 July, 2023 has been curated exclusively as an immersive printmaking exhibition with an illustrious group of artists who are already renowned for unparalleled emotive, structural and formal expressions which almost seem palpable in their artworks.

Interfaces - Part 2 scheduled to be held from 6 July to 9 July will continue to showcase exquisite prints from several artists but will also embrace other genres such as paintings, ceramic sculpture, and mixed media with a special focus on emerging artists.

INTERFACES By HOLZIndia

The inclusivity and plurality of art , and, in particular, printmaking as a medium is a manifestation of the variegated and inherent aspects of the artistic process. The effortless malleability of handmade prints , along with its ability to be replicated multiple times has led to its popularity among artists and the populace. Interfaces presented by Alliance Française de Delhi and HOLZIndia seeks to project art in all its diverse forms.

HOLZINDIA is a long term art exchange project that was formed through an amalgamation of HOLZ and Infused Story . The fortuitous meeting between Olivier Deprez and Roby Comblain led to the creation of HOLZ , an artistic endeavour with several creative engagements. The HOLZ magazine for instance, is a Brussels based handmade magazine printed on 10g Japanese kozo paper. This was accomplished after exploring the materiality of light papers that do not exceed 20g through an exhaustive process lasting several years. The transparency of paper thus became the medium of the magazine HOLZ .

INFUSED STORY , the brainchild of Monali Roy and Moumita Mitra, is a multi-dimensional cultural group based in Delhi/ NCR. Their mission is to colour beyond the borders by merging words with forms and blending different genres such as poetry, dance and drama. Monali has written, edited and published several books, including the anthology Chappai Chhabi Vol. 1 and Jiro Brij: Ami o Shoonya , which combine art and poetry in trilingual form. Chappai Chhabi Vol. 2 , published with the support of Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi , is scheduled to be launched on 24 July, 2023 on the second day of the exhibition.

HYPERGLOT REVIEW is a part of Hyperglot Solutions , which is a culmination of years of research and study to address a gap in the market to provide marketing and promotional services to artists, writers, and designers who often are not able to get the required level of exposure and visibility. At Hyperglot , we believe in the adage l'art pour l'art (art for art's sake) and, therefore, we wish to promote not just established artists but also emerging artists.
